The Padres have won the National League West for the second year in a row. And this year they actually did it with a record above 500. Yesterday’s game with the Diamondbacks was an odd affair. The win came in the form of a one-run game that ended on a contested play.

The first game of the National League Division Series between the Padres and Cardinals will take place tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. o’clock at Petco Park.
