Lightning, Thunderstorms in SoCal Spark Potential for Fires

Lightning is sweeping across the sky today in isolated areas of San Diego and Riverside counties as scattered thunderstorms move across Southern California, creating the potential for fire growth.

Forecasters say the combo of lighting and dry weather conditions equals an explosive setting for fires.
