TEMECULA, Calif. (AP) - Coroner's officials are on the scene of an apparent murder-suicide shooting in a Temecula cul-de-sac last night that left five people dead.
Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Dennis Gutierrez says medical examiners plan an autopsy for Wednesday or Thursday.
Authorities who went to the home in the quiet suburban neighborhood last night after getting a call of shots fired found two men and two women dead. A woman who survived died later at the hospital.
The victim's haven't been identified, but Gutierrez investigators "know that they are related in some way," though not members of a single nuclear family. He says they may be members of two separate families.
Gutierrez says one of the victims is believed to have been the shooter.
