Cal Fire crews are battling a 400-acre brush fire that's threatening two cabins and numerous archeological sites in the far northeastern reaches of San Diego County early today, according to Fire Captain Mike Mohler.
The Eagle Fire off Highway 79 and Camino San Ignacio, near the community of Warner Springs, was reported at 10:40 p.m. Thursday.
There are no immediate reports of injuries or damages. Fire officials the fire is 10 percent contained and the cause remained under investigation.
About 240 fire fighters are on the scene.
