SAN DIEGO - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Thursday to its lowest amount since Jan. 29, decreasing six-tenths of a cent to $3.775.
The average price has decreased for 34 of the past 36 days and is 2.5 cents less than one week ago, 21 cents lower than one month ago and 58.7 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price dropped 26 consecutive days, was unchanged Oct. 15, resumed dropping the following day, and was unchanged again Wednesday.
"Price declines are continuing as gas stations deplete their summer blend supply in anticipation of using the cheaper to produce winter blend on Nov.
