Crews quickly stopped a brush fire that broke out near Marron Valley Road in the Dulzura area, KPBS media partner 10News reports.
The fire was reported at about 11:50 a.m. near Marron Valley Road and Otay Mountain Truck Trail. Cal Fire officials said the fire burned at least two acres.
Cal Fire officials said firefighting aircraft was sent to the scene to assist ground crews.
The blaze did not threatening structures, officials said.
