A fundamental part of maintaining our democracy is for citizens to have faith in it. That has been eroding among sections of the public.

On Dec. 2, KPBS conducted a community forum on the subject: "Keeping Our Democracy: What Now?" The virtual event was moderated by KPBS Roundtable host Mark Sauer and featured panelists LaGina Gause, an assistant professor of political science at UC San Diego and Carl Luna, Mesa College political science professor and director of the Institute for Civil Civic Engagement at USD.

Community Conversation: Keeping Our Democracy: What Now?

KPBS and the National Conflict Resolution Center present a Community Conversation on the post-election challenges facing our democracy, including voting issues, the Electoral College and the role of the media.
