Researchers from Scripps Research Translational Institute found that it took study participants an average of two to three months to fully recover from COVID-19. They measured this by looking at data from study participants' wearables and comparing heart rates, hours of sleep and activity levels prior to infection to after infection. The study was published in the scientific journal JAMA Network Open on Wednesday.
