ALL ABOUT PRINTS explores the centuries-old art of printmaking. Shot in high definition at museum print rooms, print fairs, galleries and print workshops in the U.S. and Europe, the film explores the collaborative nature of printmaking and the deep-rooted traditions of the art form. These ideas come to life through the exploration of 19th-century masters Winslow Homer and James McNeill Whistler; the important contribution of Edward Hopper; the influence of Mexican muralists; the formative years of the WPA's Federal Art Project; the 1960s print boom and the ever-evolving techniques of contemporary artists who carry on the tradition.
