Johnny Reid is one of the most successful artists to come out of Canada. This Scottish-born, Toronto-bred singer-songwriter now lives in Nashville, and regularly sells out 6,000 seat arenas in Canada.
Filmed at Halifax’s Metro Centre in late November 2010, on the final day of his sold-out Canadian tour, this dynamic concert captures Johnny’s striking, soulful voice and magnetism as he performs some of the most beautiful, heartfelt songs around.
Backed by a rocking 13-piece band, Johnny covers his hits including “Today I’m Gonna Try And Change The World,” “Hands Of A Working Man,” "Let’s Go Higher," and “That Man Is Me,” as well as passionate renditions of “Help Me Make It Through The Night,” “Darlin’,” and “My Girl.”
Johnny’s new CD “A Place Called Love” went triple platinum in Canada and held the #1 position on the Canadian pop charts for 6 of the first 8 weeks of its release, knocking out Katy Perry, and Eminem.
