Magnitude 4.5 Quake Near Border Rattles San Diego

A 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck in Baja California today, possibly rattling parts of southeastern San Diego County.

The temblor struck at 8:22 a.m. about 13 miles south-southwest of Seeleyand approximately 15 miles west-southwest of Calexico, according to a preliminary report from the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries in the county, sheriff's Lt. Jim Walker said.
