Our Wild San Diego Conservation Garden

Evening Edition anchor Dwane Brown visited The Water Conservation Garden in El Cajon on Friday for a new segment of "Our Wild San Diego." Brown learned about pollinators, like butterflies, and the role they play in keeping the ecosystem healthy.

In his series "Our Wild San Diego," KPBS anchor Dwane Brown takes you to places in San Diego County to discover the animals and plants that live here. He explores everything from sea creatures to birds to reptiles and shows the habitats where they live. Along the way, you meet the people working to protect our local environment.

Brown also got some tips on saving water as California is facing tougher mandatory conservation restrictions following three years of drought.
