Baker Faces Tough Prospects in Moscow

U.S. special envoy to Iraq James Baker has persuaded several European creditor nations to ease Iraq's foreign debt. But the former secretary of state faces a tougher time with Russia, Iraq's biggest creditor. Moscow, angry over a U.S. rebuff on bids for Iraq reconstruction projects, has indicated it may not cooperate on the debt issue. Hear NPR's Guy Raz.
