Lt. Gen. Ricardo Sanchez, the joint task force commander in Iraq, says the number of insurgent attacks against coalition troops has dropped from 40 per day in November to 20 per day. He also says that more Iraqis are turning in weapons, in addition to turning in people who have made or are planning attacks against U.S. troops. NPR's Robert Siegel talks with Gen. Sanchez.
