Ambassador Khalilzad Discusses Iraq

Zalmay Khalilzad has served as U.S. ambassador to Iraq since 2005, and is set to leave that post to become the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.

Khalilzad talks with Alex Chadwick about how the security and the political situation in Iraq has evolved during his tenure. He says that delivering on the promise of more troops, as called for by President Bush, will lend credibility to the U.S. mission in Iraq.
