Mexican authorities arrested the chief of police in Cancun in connection with the brutal kidnapping, torture and murder of retired army Brig. Gen. Enrique Tello.
Tello is one of the highest ranking officials to be murdered in the ongoing drug violence. He was kidnapped the day after he was asked to assemble an anti-trafficking task force.
Jesus Esquivel, Washington correspondent for Proceso, an influential political magazine in Mexico, talks with Michel Martin.
