In addition to being a hero, he's also got a great sense of humor. Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. Dakota Meyer appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman last night, and made the audience laugh with the story of his first phone call with President Barack Obama. Meyer had just finished "greasing the Bobcat" when he spoke with the president - and you'll have to watch to figure out exactly what that means!
Before Sgt. Meyer's foray into comedy, he became the first living Marine to be awarded the Medal of Honor since the Vietnam War. He's only the third living recipient to fight in the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan. The military credits him with saving the lives of 36 men.
