The case of murder victim and Camp Pendleton wife Brittany Killgore has taken a bizarre turn. The U-T San Diego has uncovered disturbing details about the lifestyle of 25-year-old Jessica Lynn Lopez - the woman under arrest for Killgore's murder.
According to the U-T, Lopez lived with Camp Pendleton Marine Louis Ray Perez, 45, along with another woman in a Fallbrook house. The unnamed woman who owns the house is described by the U-T as Perez's "sex slave."
Last week Lopez plead not guilty to the charge of murder. Her bail has been set at $3 million. Perez is also in jail on charges he stole an assault rifle from Camp Pendleton. His bail stands at $500,000. Investigators call him a "person of interest" in the Killgore case.
So, what was Killgore's connection to Lopez and Perez? Killgore's grandmother, Cheryl Coble, told Missouri newspaper the Daily Journal:
Brittany was supposed to go out with Louis Ray Perez and his girlfriend to a dinner cruise but her family is not sure if they ever made it. His girlfriend backed out at the last minute.
