The commander of the John C. Stennis Strike Group, which includes the San Diego-based guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay, posted a video update for Stennis families on the group's Facebook page.
I've posted the update by Rear Admiral Troy Shoemaker up top. He talks about the affect of possible sequestration on the strike group, the group's efforts to deter Iran, and when the group will return to homeport.
The strike group is made up of the USS Stennis, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9, Destroyer Squadron 21 (also San Diego-based), and the USS Mobile Bay.
