The deadline to register to vote for the June 5 primary election is a week from today, the San Diego County Registrar of Voters Office announced.
"If you've moved recently, changed your name or your party preference, you'll need to fill out a new registration form,'' said Deborah Seiler, the registrar of voters. "If you go online, the process is quick, easy and convenient.''
She said the online form is in English, Spanish, Filipino, Vietnamese and Chinese. It needs to be printed, signed and postmarked by May 21.
Forms are also available at the Registrar of Voters office, post offices, city clerk offices, public libraries and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
May 29 is the deadline to request a mail ballot, Seiler said.
Applications are online, or the back of the sample ballot and voter information pamphlet sent registered voters.
