For more information or to purchase tickets, visit https://events.humanitix.com/the-freedom-table About Juneteenth San Marcos: Juneteenth San Marcos began in 2022 as an intimate, impromptu gathering hosted by Natalie and Lionel Saulsberry in their driveway—created in response to growing community curiosity around Juneteenth and a desire to foster education, inclusion, and open dialogue. What started as a small, intentional space for conversation quickly evolved into a meaningful annual tradition. By 2024, the Saulsberrys were honored with the official Juneteenth proclamation for the City of San Marcos, recognizing the impact and importance of their work in the community. In 2025, the celebration expanded into a public, festival-style event at California State University, San Marcos, welcoming a broader audience and supporting nonprofit partners through ticketed experiences. In 2026, this evolution continues with The Freedom Table, a curated culinary and storytelling experience. Learn more at couplesunfiltered.com/Juneteenth.
