These events are made possible in part through a transformational gift of more than $200,000 from the Wells Fargo Foundation, supporting SDSCF's broader Elder Fraud Prevention and Financial Stability education efforts across Southern California. These are just resource fairs these are about helping stabilize seniors’ finances in real time, not just education. Each event combines two much needed programs and resources under one roof. The Elder Fraud Prevention Workshop equips attendees with practical, hands-on knowledge to recognize and resist today's most sophisticated scams, including AI-powered voice cloning, spoofed numbers, and deepfake videos that can fool even highly educated professionals. The Financial Stability Resource Fair connects seniors and families with local organizations and services that support long-term financial wellbeing.
