To complement the successes of the club, the exhibit explains the game of lawn bowls along with the equipment used. Very little equipment is necessary to play bowls, making it an accessible sport for all demographics. Liza fixes her dreams to the wind, her gaze to the horizon, and her heart to the West – and runs away from home. On her journey, she learns that her brothers were captured by a debauched Desperado, Dirty Davey. She befriends a quack doctor, Doc Parsons, to help her rescue her brothers. Waltz & Such is teaming up with the IDASDC (International Dance Association of San Diego County) to offer a special evening of music and dance, aimed at bringing together dancers who are willing to stretch their boundaries and perhaps try something new!
