The PBS NewsHour, in partnership with local stations, launched a program called Friends of the NewsHour—an annual giving program for our loyal viewers who are able to make a significant contribution.
  • Major gifts of $25,000 or more from individuals, families, and family foundations are critical to the research, development, production, and distribution of every project, program and initiative created at KPBS.

KPBS relies on the support of our major donors to tell the stories that matter to San Diego and maintain our legacy as the most trusted news and information source in the region.

Major gifts also allow KPBS to continue to provide educational, entertaining and enriching programs and services to our entire community.
