  • The Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center (CPMCC) opens its doors to the public and has set its Grand Opening date for Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022 from Noon - 6 p.m. The inaugural exhibition in the museum will be the premiere of “PILLARS of the Community,” a collective historical narrative of Chicano Park and Logan Heights. The exhibition will highlight elements of the heart of the Chicano Park Movement including: The Brown Berets, Centro Cultural de la Raza, the Chicano Park Steering Committee, Danza Azteca, Danza Folklorica, Kumeyaay Story, Lowriders, Música, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Teatro, Unión del Barrio, and the Youth.
