What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a guided meditation practice that brings you into a state between wakefulness and sleep. While your body fully relaxes, your mind remains gently aware. During Yoga Nidra, you’ll be guided through breath awareness, body scanning, and visualization techniques that help: • Calm the nervous system • Reduce stress and anxiety • Improve sleep quality • Support emotional healing and clarity It’s often said that one hour of Yoga Nidra can feel like several hours of sleep, making it one of the most effective practices for deep restoration. What to Expect You’ll be comfortably supported as you lie down and are guided through Yoga Nidra, followed by a soothing sound bath using crystal singing bowls and other instruments. The vibrations help quiet the mind and bring your body into a deeply relaxed, meditative state. No prior meditation or sound bath experience is necessary. Simply arrive, get comfortable, and receive.
