May is National Tennis Month, so come celebrate at Molly's Angels San Diego Tennis Fest, a FREE day of fun tennis games and on-court clinics for people of all ages and ability levels, from beginners to seasoned players. With 25 tennis courts being used at Balboa Tennis Club, this is the largest free tennis clinic in the country with over 70 teaching pros from around San Diego County, many of which are RSPA/USPTA certified. Back by popular demand from last year, many more adult beginner clinic courts, specially designed to help new adult players learn the fundamentals—technique, movement, grips, and smart shot selection. This is a perfect opportunity to have your family and friends come try tennis! Multiple racquet vendors are also available to provide free racquet demo and product info. Compete and level up your game with skill and strategy games. PLUS there will be raffles and hit for prizes, and hit with local San Diego tennis legends! A Harvard graduate and former Marine Corps officer who once wrote jokes for a Colonel during Desert Storm, Connolly delivers sharp, intelligent humor that has also earned him a place on the daily rotation of SiriusXM Comedy Channels. The feature set comes from Noah Copfer, a fast-rising comic who has released a stand-up special with Don’t Tell Comedy and produced a full-length hour special on YouTube. Touring across the country and opening for top comics, Copfer recently appeared alongside Larry David in the newest season of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Opening the night is San Diego’s own Raaghav Thatte, known for his infectious energy, quick wit, and spot-on impressions. Since starting comedy at 18 while performing improv and stand-up at University of California, Santa Barbara, Thatte has become a standout voice on the Southern California comedy circuit.
