The 13-part reality series affords viewers a firsthand look at the complex product development process through the eyes of an expert team of industrial designers and engineers, marketing and branding pros, web designers and salespeople. In season four, the inventions range from a retractable dog-leash system and a carpet-stain extractor to a prosthetic hand and a novel solar technology application.
"An Idea, An Invention, An Opportunity" - See what happens when we post our Casting Call for Inventions online! Thousands of “would be inventors” submit their ideas and it’s a challenge for our EVERYDAY EDISONS team to select only 50 finalists.
Things really get exciting when we fly them to Charlotte for the “red carpet” treatment complete with paparazzi, cocktail reception and a gourmet dinner.
Facing the judges the next day…nerves, tears and exultation overwhelm them as they know they must dazzle the judges with their presentations. Who’ll be in the show this season? Only 10 will get the word….and how they get the word is just as unique as their inventions!
