Surrealism, Latino art, pasta sculpture, and dance are featured in local art venues. Critics meet to discuss upcoming exhibitions and performances in San Diego.

A variety of exhibitions are featured in San Diego this weekend.

Transmissions, will through November 12th at the San Diego Museum of Art.
TRANSactions, runs through May of next year at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla.
David Zapf Gallery, Mary Magdalene and Friends: A Survey Exhibition runs through October 7th at the David Zapf gallery on Kettner in Little Italy.
Trolley Dances, starts at the Euclid Avenue Trolley Station at 10am and runs for the next two weekends.
Chimurenga, takes place this weekend at the City Heights Performing Annex.
