Local experts recommend several events to check out this weekend in San Diego.

The Spacecraft Group Design Show will have its opening reception this Saturday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. in North Park.

The San Diego Bay Wine and Food Festival takes place at different locations throughout the weekend.

The Derby Dolls match takes place this Saturday at 5 p.m. at Skateworld on Linda Vista Road.

Jolie Holland plays The Casbah next Wednesday, November 15th at 8:30p.m.

Dr. Octagon also plays the Casbah – he’s there on Monday at 8:30p.m.

The Beautiful South play at the House of Blues on Saturday at 7 p.m.
