Teens Taught How to Avoid HIV
Tom Fudge : One of the defining characteristics of youth is the feeling of being indestructible. Death tends to be the furthest thing from the mind of a teenager. So how do you get a kid to think about the risk of a deadly disease – especially a disease that requires you to be careful about having sex? Tomorrow is World AIDS Day. And we mark it today by talking about an effort in San Diego to talk to teenagers about how to avoid becoming infected with HIV.
