This week, the House and Senate approved a $124 billion Iraq war spending bill that calls for troop withdrawals to begin in the next few months. The President is expected to veto the bill early next week, but what happens after that? Also, local neighborhoods with large minority populations are showing a high rate of foreclosures. How can lower-income residents avoid being preyed upon by dishonest mortgage brokers? And, the City Council is set to discuss a proposal to increase San Diego's hotel tax.
