Weekend Preview: Street Scene, Sly and Robbie, and Distinction Gallery
Maureen Cavanaugh (Guest Host): Street Scene moves again! It's certainly fair to say that San Diego's longest running music festival is going through some growing pains. We'll also talk about a couple art exhibits and some music for your weekend.
Street Scene will take place next month, September 22 nd and 23 rd at Coors Amphitheater.
Bell, Book and Candle runs through September 9 th at the Old Globe in Balboa Park.
The exhibit Alexandre Arrechea: Scalpel and Cotton runs through October 14 th at the San Diego Museum of Art.
The exhibit Innocent Discoveries opens this weekend at Distinction Gallery in Escondido. There will be an opening reception this Saturday night (August 11 th ) from 7-11 p.m.
Sly and Robbie play at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach this Saturday evening (August 11 th ).
The Rock The Bells show takes place this Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m. at the Coors Amphitheater.
