Due to the county's wildfires, all San Diego Unified School District schools will be closed tomorrow, along with San Diego State University; UC San Diego and the University of San Diego.
Grossmont College, Cuyamaca Colleges and the Thomas Jefferson School of Law will also be closed.
UCSD hospitals and healthcare clinics will be open, officials said;

The following schools are currently closed:
-- In Mira Mesa: Mira Mesa High School; Challenger and Wangenheim middle schools; Ericson, Hage, Hickman, Walker, Mason and Sandburg elementary schools; Sandburg and Walker child development centers;
-- In Scripps Ranch: Scripps Ranch High School, Marshall Middle School,
Dingeman, Jerabek, Miramar Ranch, E.B. Scripps elementary schools;
-- Camp Palomar on Palomar Mountain;
-- Charter Schools: Health Sciences Charter School, Arroyo Paseo High
School and Door of Hope are closed. Other charter schools should be
contacted directly for closure information.
The Board of Education workshop scheduled for today has been canceled.
Alliant International University closed its Scripps Ranch and
Cornerstone campuses today and canceled all school-related activities,
spokeswoman Nicolette Toussaint said.
University of Phoenix Learning Centers in downtown San Diego, Chula
Vista, Kearny Mesa and San Marcos are closed today, the university's
Denise Scatena said. A decision has not been made yet about whether the
centers will be open tomorrow. Students are asked to check on the Web
