Survivors of the Parkland school shooting have found a tragic connection with San Diego.

Just a month after the fatal shooting at the Chabad of Poway Synagogue, two of the Parkland survivors will speak in La Jolla this weekend about their experiences following the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School which killed 17 students in Feb. 2018.

They’ll be at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center Sunday to talk about their book, "Glimmer of Hope," as part of the JCC's Community/Divided/Humanity United speaking series.
