The San Diego Association of Governments has published a notice of preparation or NOP for a project that’s been dubbed "San Diego’s Grand Central Station." The notice is the first step in an environmental review for the transit hub.

Plans for a connection between the San Diego International Airport and public transportation including rail and bus lines are proceeding. On Wednesday the San Diego Association of Governments published a notice of preparation or NOP for a project that’s been dubbed "San Diego’s Grand Central Station." The notice is the first step in an environmental review for the Central Mobility Hub.

Although the concept is still in it’s early stages with many questions about location and access still unanswered, the NOP puts the public and state agencies on notice that San Diego officials are serious about moving forward.
