ANTIQUES ROADSHOW: Biloxi, Miss. - Hour 1

At ANTIQUES ROADSHOW in Biloxi, Mississippi, this guest arrives with an inherited sculpture he’s hoping to learn more about. Beautifully modeled after dancers from the Russian Ballet, the heirloom treasure is actually a 1928 Demeter Chiparus sculpture and a stunning example of the artist’s signature style. Entitled “Persian Dancers,” appraiser Kerry Shrives values the ivory and bronze figures at a substantial $100,000 to $150,000.
