Every fairy tale has its sequel. On the brink of happiness at the end of last season, retail genius John Moray and his “little champion,” Denise, find true love a bumpy ride indeed, as Katherine and her new husband scheme to wreck their lives. Joanna Vanderham stars as Denise, with Emun Elliott as Moray, Elaine Cassidy as Katherine and Ben Daniels as Katherine’s moody, malevolent spouse in MASTERPIECE CLASSIC: The Paradise, Season 2.
Episode One airs Sunday, September 28 at 8 p.m. - Time has not stood still since last season’s wedding disaster. Moray, Denise and Katherine reunite under a new regime.
Episode Two airs Sunday, October 5 at 8 p.m. - Fireworks ignite—literally—when a vendor named Clémence arrives from Paris. Tom and Dudley succumb. Jonas reappears. And wedding bells ring.
Episode Three airs airs Sunday, October 12 at 8 p.m. - Moray locks horns with bosses Katherine and Tom to pick a new head of ladies-wear. Will it be Denise, Clara, or a dark horse?
Episode Four airs Sunday, October 19 at 8 p.m. - Denise faces her first personnel problem, while Moray sets a desperate plan in motion. Myrtle also confronts a crisis.
Episode Five airs Sunday, October 26 at 8 p.m. - An heirloom watch incites sales, seduction, and sorcery at The Paradise. The protagonists find themselves in new roles.
Episode Six airs Sunday, November 2 at 8 p.m. - Moray and Tom raise the stakes in their battle for The Paradise. Denise pursues her own plan. Lovett suffers a crisis.
Episode Seven airs Sunday, November 9 at 8 p.m. - A ghost story brings Moray and Denise back together. A traveling photographer makes a big impression on Clara.
Episode Eight airs Sunday, November 16 at 8 p.m. - Clémence returns, bringing emotions to a boil. Denise, Moray, Katherine, and Tom reach a mutual understanding.
