San Diego County Gas Price Drops For Ninth Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County fell 2.8 cents today to $4.594, the largest drop in nine consecutive days of declines.

The average price has dropped 13.1 cents over the past nine days, including 1.8 cents on Tuesday, after rising 54.7 cents over the previous six days to a record high of $4.725, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 12 cents less than one week ago, but 46.1 cents more than one month ago and 72.4 cents higher than one year ago.
