San Diego County Average Gas Price Rises For 40th Consecutive Day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose Saturday for the 40th consecutive day and 58th time in 59 days, increasing three-tenths of a cent to $3.921, its highest amount since Nov. 21, 2019.

The average price has increased 57.6 cents over the past 59 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 5.1 cents more than one week ago, 33.3 cents higher than one month ago and 63.1 cents greater than one year ago.

The streak of increases is the longest since at least 2011.
