The county and the state limited their guidelines on who should get a COVID test at sites they operate. The change occurred after supplies dwindled and labs were backlogged with tests, delaying turnaround times.
Weeks later, KPBS wants to know how — or if — things have changed and whether it affected the make-up of those getting tested. But we also know there are more testing sites in the region than just those operated by government agencies, such as pharmacies and local hospitals, and we want to know how that process is going as well.
We want to hear why you may be getting a test (or if you’re unable to), which testing location you chose and what your experience is like — from the swab up your nose down to receiving your results.
Please let us know — hopefully before you go! — and a KPBS reporter may follow up with you to track your experience.
