Afghans Approve New Constitution

Afghanistan's Loya Jirga, or grand assembly, approves a new constitution for the nation, ending days of debate in Kabul. The accepted plan provides for a presidential system of government and includes guarantees of human and women's rights. NPR's Steve Inskeep talks to New York Times reporter Carlotta Gall.
