The United Nations is taking steps toward trying to stem the violence in Iraq and improve the quality of life for the Iraqi people.

Zalmay Khalilzad, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, talks to Rebecca Roberts about the resolution, which is sponsored by the United States and Britain and also would direct U.N. expertise at problems such as reconstruction and refugees.
