Chess Champ Kasparov Closer to Capturing Kremlin

Former world chess champion Garry Kasparov, who is vying to succeed Russian President Vladimir Putin, came a step closer to his goal. He was overwhelmingly elected as the opposition coalition's candidate for March elections. Kasparov co-founded the opposition coalition "Other Russia" after retiring from professional chess in 2005.
