SD Port Commission Says No To U-T Plan

Staff of the Port of San Diego turned in a report to the commissioners which touted the economic impact of both the 10th Avenue Marine Terminal and the National City Marine Terminal. The commissioners declared that the report was not about last week's U-T editorial saying the land should be used for a football stadium and entertainment complex. We look at the proposal to build a stadium and convention center on the 10th Avenue Marine Terminal and whether or not the "Unconditional Surrender" statue will remain on San Diego's waterfront.
