Carter Center event highlights veterans' mental health - Veterans need help adjusting back to civilian life. Advocates say more needs to be done. Corporal details Marines' hard life in southern Afghanistan - In the first two months of a seven-month tour, US Marine Corporal Chuck Martin has been in 16 firefights. Suspects in San Diego bank heist are Marines - San Diego police say two men arrested after the robbery of a California Credit Union in La Mesa are active duty Marines. Court system specifically for veterans proposed - As more veterans get in trouble with the law, San Diego wants to establish a court system to hear cases specifically involving veterans. Report: Iraq, Afghanistan among most corrupt - An international watchdog group found Somalia to be the most corrupt country, followed by Afghanistan tied with Myanmar, then Iraq. Corpsmen training on high-tech dummies - Navy hospital corpsmen will now train on advanced medical mannequins. Camp Pendleton is using them to train its surgical teams.
