Looking for a way to spend some quality family time together without spending money? Starting Memorial Day, all active duty servicemembers and their families will get free admission to roughly 1,300 museums around the country. For a list of those museums, click here.

The Department of Defense reports National Endowment for the Arts Chairman Rocco Landesman officially announced the program today in San Diego, joined by Blue Star Families Chairman Kathy Roth-Douquet (no relation). Blue Star Families has teamed up with the NEA for the second consecutive year to make the "Blue Star Museum" program a reality, according to Roth-Douquet:

The program runs through Labor Day, which falls on September 5 this year.
