The Oprah Winfrey Network is developing a new reality show that centers around the lives of military spouses, according to the Department of Defense. The television production company 44 Blue Productions is currently looking for Army wives who live in Alaska to participate in the "documentary-style" series. It will be aptly called "Army Wives of Alaska."
44 Blue Productions' interest in the show was peaked by Stephanie Woodard. She's married to Army Chief Warrant Officer 2 Brian 'Clint' Woodard, a Black Hawk helicopter pilot stationed at Fort Wainwright in Alaska. She tells the DoD the show will be a good way for civilians to understand what military families go through:
