Who do you think should be our next president? Well, if you're in the military, and you want your voice to be heard, the Department of Defense is urging you to register to vote now.
The Federal Voting Assistance Program released a report last October that showed servicemembers voted at a higher rate than the general public in the 2010 midterm elections. In addition, reports the Washington Post, members of the military are registered to vote at a higher rate than civilians:
