Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner is scheduled to field questions from the public in Poway tonight in his second visit to San Diego County in three days.
Poizner, the state's insurance commissioner, will hold a "town hall" meeting at Stoneridge Country Club. Those wishing to attend should arrive around 5:45 p.m., according to campaign communications director Jarrod Agen.
Poizner will make opening remarks about his business background, his proposal for 10 percent tax cuts for every person and business in California, his record compared to former eBay Chief Executive Officer Meg Whitman, then take questions for an event expected to last about an hour, Agen told City News Service.
Poizner toured the San Ysidro border crossing Monday.
